6 cups lettuce, shredded
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
10 ounces frozen peas, thawed and drained
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup red onion, sliced into rings
4 to 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked
2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing

Layer lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, cheese and onions in a two-quart serving bowl. Spread dressing over onions, sealing to edge of bowl; cover and refrigerate several hours. Garnish with crisply cooked and crumbled bacon. Top with additional cheese if desired.
