1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup grated carrots
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 hamburger buns

In a large skillet over medium heat, saute onions, celery and carrots in oil until soft. Stir in beef; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently until beef is browned and crumbly. Stir in remaining ingredients, except seasonings and hamburger buns. Simmer, covered, 3 to 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with hamburger buns.
