4 slices sourdough bread, toasted
1-1/2 pounds cooked turkey, sliced
White cheddar sauce (recipe to follow)
1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated and divided
1 large tomato, ripe and sliced
8 pieces of thick bacon, fried crisp

Make white cheddar sauce; set aside. Preheat broiler to 500 degrees. Place four toasted slices of sourdough bread on a foil-lined baking sheet. Divide turkey among bread slices. Top turkey with tomato slices.
Next, spoon white cheddar sauce over each sandwich. Reserve 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the sandwiches. Place pan under broiler and watch closely, until the sauce is bubbly and begins to brown. Top each with 2 pieces of cooked bacon and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese before serving.
