4 slices deli roast beef
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash of salt
3/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
4 cups romaine lettuce, cut up
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup garlic croutons
1/4 cup shredded carrots
Black pepper to taste

In a screw top jar combine garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, oil and salt. Shake well to blend; set aside. Rinse lettuce and pat dry. Tear into serving pieces and place in a bowl. Add Parmesan and croutons.

Pour dressing over salad; toss well. Place beef, cut in julienne strips, over lettuce. Season with pepper to taste.
