3 pieces thick-sliced smoked bacon
2 cups chopped onion
2/3 cup chopped smoked meat
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup KC Masterpiece Original BBQ sauce
2 11-ounce cans pork and beans, drained
1 28-ounce can pork and beans, undrained
White raisins and chopped apples (optional)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Add onion and chopped meat. Cook until grease is absorbed, stirring often. Add sugar; stir often so it dissolves but doesn’t burn. Add BBQ sauce, then all of the beans; stir well and heat through. Bake, uncovered, in oven for 30 to 45 minutes or in outdoor smoker for 2 hours, stirring once or twice.
