6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoon butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 slices American cheese

Put half of the potatoes in greased crockpot. Top with half of the onions, half of the flour; then add salt and pepper. Add remaining potatoes and onions. Sprinkle with remaining flour.

Add butter and undiluted soup. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours. or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Add cheese 30 minutes before serving.
