St. James Winery has again claimed our readers’ top spot for Missouri winery. The winery has been around for more than 50 years and produces 500,000 gallons of wines annually. Head to the winery on a nice afternoon and enjoy your glass in The Gardens, an outdoor space full with activities that is shared with Public House Brewing Co.

2nd: Les Bourgeois Vineyards, Rocheport; 800-690-1830

Perched on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River, Les Bourgeois boasts some of Missouri’s most incredible views at sunset with delicious food and wine to boot. From the sweet Riverboat White to the full-bodied, dry Norton to four different Mizzou-themed wines, you’ll find something to please your palate.

Located just east of Trenton, Black Silo Winery is the perfect place to pour a glass of wine and relax the afternoon away. The first grapes were planted at Black Silo in 2010 and today the winery plays host to weddings, events and musical acts. Try a glass of the dark red Jesse James or the Stagecoach, a semi-dry white with a hint of spice.
