For more than two decades, our Best of Rural Missouri<\/i> Readers\u2019 Choice contest has given you the opportunity to tell us about your favorite restaurants, festivals, destinations and activities to do with your friends and family throughout the Show-Me State. We get thousands of votes highlighting all there is to love about Missouri.<\/p>\n
Based on your votes, we\u2019ll name a winner, runner-up and editors’ choice in each category. Online voters will be entered to win a sweepstakes prize package valued at $500! The winners of the contest and sweepstakes will be announced in our April 2024 edition.<\/span><\/p>\n Last year, we introduced the Best of Rural Missouri<\/i> Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame consists of entities that have won five times or more since 2012 and are ineligible to place in the current contest. Current Hall of Fame inductees are Missouri Hick Bar-B-Que, Cuba; Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Camdenton; St. James Winery, St. James; Silver Dollar City, Branson; Branson and Lake of the Ozarks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Only online ballots are eligible for the $500 prize package drawing and must contain responses to all categories in the contest. No purchase necessary. One entry per person or IP address. Ballot must be received by Jan. 15, 2024. Winner will be notified by phone.
