2 10-ounce packages frozen sweetened strawberries
6-1/2 cups rosé wine
1-1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
Simple syrup
10 cups of champagne
Ice ring

Chill all ingredients well before mixing. Purée the strawberries in a blender until smooth, adding a little of the wine if necessary. Chill.

Sweeten the lemon juice to taste with simple syrup and pour it into the punch bowl. Stir in puréed strawberries and the wine. Add champagne last. Add ice ring and serve immediately.
