Cake:
1 18.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 16-ounce box powdered sugar
1 stick butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13-by-9-inch pan. In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, egg, butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat into the bottom of the prepared pan and set aside.
In a clean bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth with the electric mixer. Add eggs, vanilla and peanut butter. Dump in the powdered sugar and beat well. Reduce speed of mixer and slowly pour in butter; mix well.
Pour filling onto cake mixture and spread evenly. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. If you want the center a little gooey, don’t over bake.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut into squares.
