2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large onion chopped coarsely
1 cup celery, chopped coarsely
1/2 green pepper chopped coarsely
1 small can tomato soup
1 large can diced chili tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 jalapeño peppers, chopped
1 dried Serrano pepper, crushed
1 can chili beans in sauce
Grated cheddar cheese, optional
Extra chopped onion, optional

Brown beef and place in large pot. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a slight boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Serve hot with grated cheddar cheese and chopped onions on top if so desired.
