1 egg white
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 box two-layer white cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, beat egg white with vanilla and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. In large bowl, beat cake mix, butter and cream cheese until crumbly dough forms. Press dough into a 10-inch-by-15-inch jelly roll pan. Spread with egg white mixture and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake bars at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting.
